Meet Our Team

Lily

Lily has been the Executive Director of The Teal House since July 2021 and employed as an advocate since 2018. Lily is a proud double eagle, receiving her Bachelors degree in Justice Studies in 2017 and her Masters degree in Criminology in 2019 from Georgia Southern University. She was previously employed by the office of the District Attorney, giving her unique knowledge of the judicial system. Lily is a certified sexual assault and child abuse advocate, as well as a forensic interviewer.

Colby

Colby has been the outreach coordinator for The Teal House since August 2023 and employed as an advocate since 2018. Colby graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2020 with a degree in Psychology. Her love and drive for helping people is evident everyday that she walks into The Teal House. Colby is a trained sexual assault and child abuse advocate as well as a Forensic Interviewer. Colby shines everyday that she gets to help a child who has been hurt and that is seen throughout her career in non-profits in the Bulloch county area.

Katie

Katie has been an Adult/Adolescent SANE with The Teal House since 2020 and the SANE Coordinator since 2023. Katie graduated from Albany State University in 2017 and quickly began her journey in healthcare. Some of her experience includes working with EGRMC and in oncology - but her passion is in women’s health. Katie brings a soft smile and a strong heart to our team, and her love for The Teal House is evident in her work.

Cassidi

Cassidi has been the Victims Services Coordinator of The Teal House since March 2023. Cassidi has been the Victim Services Coordinator since March 2023. Cassidi is a recent graduate of Georgia Southern University’s department of Psychology. Cassidi is passionate about many things, but holds a special interest in advocacy work, especially with teens and young adults. Cassidi is a trained sexual assault advocate and a recent graduate of ChildFirst, the forensic interviewing certification class in the State of Georgia!

Matti

Matti has been our Follow-Up Specialist since August of 2024 after completing an internship with us. Her friendly smile and love for victim services has been very evident since her first day with us at The Teal House. Matti graduated from Georgia Southern University in December of 2024 with a degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Cybercrimes. Matti is also a trained Victims Advocate and Forensic Interviewer. Her love for the job is shown daily and her passion for advocacy is evident!
